Track Changes: Week 13

The Beautiful Things

  • When your husband hides a bag of jellybeans in your bed.
  • When you can now run for 5 minutes straight after barely being able to run for 30 seconds two weeks ago.
  • When you’re in the eye of a stress storm.
  • Mood rings.
  • Orange lipstick.
  • The show American Crime Story, the writing.
  • New music just in time for Spring.
  • Wearing heels just because.
  • Ghost in the Shell’s setting/world.
  • Dreaming of the next story you want to write.
  • The anticipation of a haircut scheduled in the future.

The Growing Things

For this week,

  1.  Keep the end in mind. (Again.)
  2. Enjoy each task I take on. (Again.)
  3. Practice breathing and praying when I start to grind my teeth from stress.
